Roaster's Notes: New Comforting Coffees

Roaster's Notes: New Comforting Coffees

In a wild turn of events, we have officially roasted up the remainder of both of our comforting coffees! Sourced and roasted to provide you with a chocolatey cup of coffee with a heavy body and low acidity, our comforting coffees can be a real crowd pleaser. While we will miss the Peru Cusco and the Guatemala Benjamin Lopez, we are excited to share some fresh crop coffees with you!

Taking over for the Guatemala Benjamin Lopez, we have good ol’ Guatemala Javier Martinez. Where the Benjamin Lopez had notes of milk chocolate covered peanuts, the Javier Martinez leans more on the almond and dark chocolate side of things, with a subtle raspberry-like acidity to balance things out. If you were set up for a recurring order of the Guatemala Benjamin Lopez, we will be transitioning you to the Guatemala Javier Martinez.

Our second transitioning coffee will be the Peru Cusco, swapping out for our Mexico Santa Maria Yucuhiti. This is not the first year we have purchased this coffee and are thrilled to say that the fresh crop offers a predominantly dark chocolatey cup with hints of warming spices. If you were set up for a recurring order of the Peru Cusco, we will be transitioning you to the Mexico Santa Maria Yucuhiti.
